March 2026.1

We’ve introduced several new updates across esenda to give schools greater visibility, control, and flexibility when managing payments.

Here’s what’s new:

New Card Statements & Card Payouts Modules

We’ve introduced two new modules to provide clearer visibility of card payments:

Card Statements

See a breakdown of card processing charges.

Card Payouts

See exactly what your school receives from card payments.

Together, these modules make it easier to understand both fees and payouts, giving you a clearer picture of card payment activity.

New Notification Settings

Within Settings, you can now control email notification preferences so you can stay informed about key events without needing to log in.

These notifications are initially available for BACS-related events, including:

• Approvals

• Files sent to the bureau

• BACS reports received

You can switch these notifications on or off depending on how you prefer to stay updated.

Single Sign-On (SSO) Settings for iSAMS Users

Schools using the esenda module within iSAMS can now configure Single Sign-On (SSO) directly within Settings → Identity Provider.

This makes it easier to streamline access and authentication for users within your organisation.

Find the full iSAMS Setup How-To doc here.

Improved Mandates Module

The Mandates module has been enhanced to give you clearer visibility across all mandates.

You can now:

• View all mandates in one place

• Filter between eMandates and other mandate types

• Filter by active and cancelled mandates

This makes it easier to monitor mandate status and manage Direct Debit activity.

Payment Portal now available in German

To better support international families, the Payment Portal (used by payers) now includes a German language option, making it easier for German-speaking parents and payers to complete payments with confidence.

‍

Please note: some features will only be visible if they are enabled for your school, relevant payment methods are in use, or your user permissions allow access.
